York College Changemaker Scholarship Programs
A Changemaker at YCP is a student volunteer who partners with local organizations to make a difference. York College Changemaker scholarship programs are selective, multi-year, cohort-based programs that offer an annual scholarship to students who are selected for acceptance into these programs. Changemaker programs promote volunteer engagement, community-engaged learning, leadership development, and civic responsibility.
Changemaker scholarship programs include Eisenhart Community Scholars, Hope Scholars, Impact York, Promise, and YCCOSP. Eisenhart Scholars and Hope Scholars are also part of the York College Honors Community. Promise and YCCOSP are also classified as Student Success Scholarship Programs.
As a Changemaker, you will have the opportunity to:
- Earn a scholarship that helps to support your education while you support our community.
- Build connections with community service organizations and leaders.
- Work together in teams to attain common goals: to serve your community, learn about diverse populations, and to make a difference.
- Through your work in the community, gain skills and achieve accomplishments that help prepare you for your future.
