Directions for Unloading and Parking Vehicles
Due to premium parking around the residence halls, residents are requested to unload vehicles quickly (15 minute time limit) and move vehicles to designated parking areas. You will only be able to move in during your specified time, which is noted on your assignment letter. When you arrive to the College, Campus Safety Officers will be directing traffic and will be happy to provide assistance.
Penn/Beard Complex Residents (Penn, Beard, Willow, Laurel, Evergreen, Susquehanna, Springettsbury, Pershing and Codorus):
FROM BALTIMORE, MARYLAND:
Heading North on I-83 take exit 15 onto George Street. Make a left onto Springettsbury Avenue and another left onto Newberry Street.FROM HARRISBURG, PENNSYLVANIA:
Heading South on I-83 take exit 16B (Route 74 North/Queen Street) onto Queen Street and follow Queen Street to the fourth traffic light. Turn left on to Springettsbury Avenue and proceed through the first light (George Street). Make a left on to Newberry Street.
Manor Complex Residents (North, Northeast, South, East, West, and Tyler Run):
FROM BALTIMORE, MARYLAND:
Heading North on I-83 take exit 15 onto George Street. Turn left onto Country Club Road at the third traffic light. The College entrance is a short distance on the right. Once on campus, bear right at the “Y” and proceed to the stop sign; the Manor Complex will be directly in front of you.FROM HARRISBURG, PENNSYLVANIA:
Heading South on I-83 take exit 16B (Route 74 North/Queen Street) on to Queen Street and follow Queen Street to the third traffic light. Turn left onto Rathton Road and proceed to the second light. Proceed forward through the light intersecting George Street onto Country Club Road. The College entrance is a short distance on the right. Once on campus, bear right at the “Y” and proceed to the stop sign; the Manor Complex will be directly in front of you.
West Campus Residents (Country Club Manor, Spring Garden, Brockie, and Richland):
Please follow directions for Manor Complex, but continue on Country Club Road past front entrance of the College and make a right on Reade Avenue.
Parking will be monitored around Country Club Manor, Spring Garden, Brockie, and Richland Halls during the move-in weekend (8/22-8/24). Students will only be able to park around those complexes for unloading purposes (15 minute time limit). Once vehicles are unloaded, please move them to the West Campus parking lot, just north of Richland Hall, beyond York College Drive.
