Notable Alumni of the English and Humanities Department

A degree in writing, literature, foreign language, or philosophy adequately prepares students to face the challenges of the workplace or the world of graduate studies. You cultivate the skills that are necessary to succeed in life beyond the college years: adaptability and flexibility, critical thinking skills, ability to work independently, improved communication skills. Many of our graduates are enjoying successful careers, and some have continued their studies by pursuing graduate degrees elsewhere.
