The Department of Information Technology supports a campus-wide computer network connecting all academic and administrative offices, classrooms, laboratories, and residence halls. The campus network also provides file storage and printer services from any location on campus.
PC Labs - The Information Technology Department has implemented 6 general
purpose computer labs and 18 special purpose computer labs offering over 500
up-to-date computers serving Chemistry, Psychology, Language Arts, Graphic
Arts, Biology, Psychology, Engineering and the Library. Many labs also
include electronic teaching facilities with built in screen projection
systems.
Smart Classrooms - The College has built 56 smart classrooms that use
projection systems, multi-media equipment and the Internet for complementing
the learning process.
Full-span Communication - All campus residence rooms offer full network and
Internet access, cable TV with HBO and local telephone service. Through any
PC on campus, you can access several hundred different software
applications, the Internet, e-mail, online course registration, library
catalog searches and have remote access to other colleges and sites around
the world.
Wireless - New wireless technologies extend college resources beyond the
classrooms and labs. There are numerous hot spots for wireless connectivity
all around campus including a growing number in the residence facilities.
