York College of Pennsylvania offers a wide array of affordable educational programs that prepare students to lead successful, productive lives in a wide variety of professions from engineering to nursing to sports management and many in between. YCP is a community of learners and learning, where people share a common bond of active participation in academic and campus life.
By helping your son or daughter to select York College of Pennsylvania, you have already made a significant contribution and investment in your student’s future. Our sincere hope is that as a parent, you will remain actively engaged in your student’s educational experience. One of the best ways to do so is to join the Parents Fund.
The Parents Fund is an annual effort to raise unrestricted support for many needs across campus. Indeed all gifts to the Parents Fund are used for current expenditures supporting every aspect of campus life including, but not limited to, providing scholarships, updating laboratory and classroom equipment for today’s rapidly changing world and enhancing student activities and extracurricular programs.
Every gift, regardless of the size, makes an absolute difference. Those parents making gifts of $1,000 or more to the Parents Fund will become members of the Heritage Society. Membership in the Heritage Society affords parents a direct, personal connection to the YCP campus and college staff which includes expanded opportunities to meet other parents and alumnae/i.
Philanthropy is an important tradition, which has in part, helped define York College. Unrestricted gifts to the Annual Fund and the Parents Fund allow York College to provide the best educational opportunities in and out of the classroom to every student.
The Parents Fund touches the lives of every student and continues to benefit them long after graduation by enhancing the value of their York College degree.
