New Parking Ordinance: Butler Avenue:
York City has adopted a second permit-only residential parking area on Butler Avenue. This permit-only area extends along Butler Avenue between Pershing Avenue and Beaver Street.
Effective immediately, curbside parking in this area is by permit only at all times. Any vehicle parked at curbside without displaying a valid parking permit is subject to being ticketed and could be towed as well. Posted by jmb on 3/10/06
New Parking Ordinance: Springettsbury Avenue and South Beaver Street:
On Tuesday September 6, 2005 York City Council approved Resolution No. 124 of Session 2005, which established Residential Parking Permit District #1 (RPPD1). RPPD1 consists of the 100 Block of West Springettsbury Avenue and the 900 Block of South Beaver Street.
Beginning September 23, 2005, curbside parking in RPPD1 is by permit only at all times. Any vehicle parked at curbside without displaying a valid parking permit is subject to being ticketed. On October 3, 2005 and thereafter any vehicle parked and not displaying a permit will be ticketed and towed. Posted by jmb
