Learning Improvement Grant
Learning Improvement Grants (LIG) provide funds for evidence-informed improvements to enhance existing courses or programming, evaluate instruction, and/or assess curricular needs. The grant funds will support new projects that directly and significantly affect teaching and learning, such as developing materials for new and existing courses and developing new modes of instruction.
The LIG program especially welcomes new multi-disciplinary projects in courses that have multiple sections. In addition, the LIG program encourages projects that respond to changes in education: for instance, projects that involve integrative learning, civic engagement, enhance diversity, encourage study groups and use of academic support resources, promote active learning and engagement, focus on communication skills, or seek to improve assessment.
Submissions will be considered on a rolling basis until all funds are expended.
