Women's Club Rugby
York Women's Rugby Club Team are proud members of the National Collegiate Rugby organization (NCR) and continuously strive to be a major success as one of the finest Division 2 rugby sides in the nation. Through teamwork, sportsmanship and respect, York Women’s Rugby aims to represent York College and the surrounding community well both on and off the field. Although social events play a role in recruiting and participation, the main goal of York Rugby is to be not only among the elite and most competitive sides in the EPRU; but to be ranked among the most premiere in the United States.
While most players come from a variety of sport’s backgrounds, Women’s Rugby emphasizes the importance of every body type and skill level as an important and unique asset to the team.
By practicing 4 days a week, our dedication and perseverance set an example for other sides wanting to succeed. Our strong belief in hard work, enthusiasm for the sport and camaraderie set the standard for women's rugby in our area.
