A student research project at York College of Pennsylvania was chosen to receive $60,819 in grant money as part of the Manufacturing PA Initiative, as announced by Gov. Tom Wolf. York and other colleges are receiving nearly $2 million as part of the initiative, which funds research projects that will help advance innovation in several sectors of manufacturing, from advanced medical, to waste sustainability, to artificial intelligence.

York College of Pennsylvania has been recognized as one of Abound’s 2021 Top Adult Degree Programs. The College qualified for this recognition based on factors that cover the essential needs of the nontraditional student — accessibility, affordability, acceleration, and advancement.

York College of Pennsylvania will host a Q&A with the artists from the Lancaster-area Barefoot Dance Company on Thursday, March 4, at 7 p.m. EST via Zoom.

York College was recently named to the Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society’s 2021 Transfer Honor Roll in recognition of the dynamic pathways the College has created to support transfer students. The College also earned the 2021-2022 Military Friendly School designation from G.I. Jobs magazine.
