How We Support You

Workshops & Events

We offer professional development workshops, institutes, scholarly writing retreats, and other events open to all YCP faculty (full- and part-time) throughout the year. YCP faculty can find information about these events on our Calendar and Canvas site

Individual Consultations

We are available for personalized and practical consultations on all aspects of teaching, including course design, high-impact and evidence-based teaching practices, and assessment. Email cfe@ycp.edu to schedule an appointment.

Research Assistant Grant program

Our Research Assistant Grants provide funding to hire YCP undergrads as research assistants, advancing faculty research and offering students valuable research experience.

On-Demand Resources for Faculty

Explore our Canvas site, where we curate resources related to many aspects of faculty work, including teaching, scholarship, and mentoring undergraduate research.

Undergraduate Research Grant Program

Our Undergraduate Research Grants provide financial support to YCP students conducting research or creative projects under faculty mentorship. Grants can be used for research materials and equipment as well as travel to research sites and conferences.

Undergraduate Research Showcase

We partner with the Academic Success Center to host an annual showcase of exemplary undergraduate research and creative scholarship from students across campus. Explore the wide range of research projects and presentations on our 2024 showcase website.

Customized Workshops & Resources

We collaborate with department chairs and program leaders to develop resources and programs tailored to their specific needs. Past collaborations have included workshops for groups of faculty redesigning courses or assignments, planning student learning assessments, and accomplishing other program-level goals. Contact us at cfe@ycp.edu to discuss your program's needs.
