If you're walking around West Campus, it's hard to go far without seeing our students in their white scrubs — it's a proud day when you get them! — going to Diehl Hall, or heading out to care for patients at local hospitals and other medical facilities.

Diehl Hall

What's the advantage of our nursing programs? Beyond the proximity to hospitals and expert faculty, there's Diehl Hall, home to all the advantages you need to become a knowledgeable nurse ready to enter any nursing career path. We're located at 890 Grantley Road, York, PA, 17403 (adjacent to Grumbacher Sport and Fitness Center!) Some of the features you'll enjoy:

  • Two eight-bed labs with ninth bed for SimMan3G
  • Two individual simulation rooms, each with SimMan 3G
  • Health assessment space with eight treatment tables
  • Maternal/pediatric lab with Noelle and Baby Hal
  • Six video recording spots, each in a different lab room, plus two computer labs

Nursing Labs

Practice on simulators, task trainers — and sometimes your classmate!

Critical Care Equipment

Students use patient monitors, defibrillator, ventilator, ECG machines, bladder scanner, and intravenous infusion pumps.

The maternal child skills lab contains Noelle, a full-size child birth simulator who delivers a full size baby. We have Newborn Hal and one year old Chris.
