Nonprofit Leadership Certificate

Lead for change and social impact.

Whether you are a seasoned professional or just starting your career, our four-course, post-baccalaureate Nonprofit Leadership certificate program will provide you with foundational knowledge of the intersection between nonprofit management and sustainable social change.

Offered as either a stand-alone certificate or as a concentration within the Master of Public Policy and Administration program, the Nonprofit Leadership Certificate will provide you with a high-level understanding of nonprofit organizations, philanthropy, and the role of the “third sector” in social change, policy work, and social impact investing. Topics covered in courses include nonprofits and public policy, strategic planning, human resources management, and leadership.

The program is designed with working professionals in mind and utilizes a flexible, hybrid delivery model. Classes are held in the evening in downtown York and can be attended virtually or in person.
