Cultural Series: Humanities

Celebrating a Discipline of Imagination and Analysis

The humanities encompass the study of languages, literature, philosophy, and religion. Discussions of topics in these fields help us understand where we have been and envision where we are going. The humanities teach us how to think and argue, how to speak and write, and how to love and live — Put simply, the humanities study what makes us human.

Join us for this year's Cultural Series events, during which we will examine the importance of humanities in our lives through conversation about language translation, philosophy, literature of science, and medical humanities.
