2024-25 Cultural Series events include an art exhibition of iconic posters from the turbulent 1960s and 1970s, a live performance of music from A Charlie Brown Christmas, film screenings with filmmaker Q&A, explorations of traditional cultural dances from across the globe, and much more.

Art

Events at the York College Art Galleries and Marketview Arts showcase a commitment to intercultural learning and global studies. The academic art gallery serves as both a space for contemplation of form and an interdisciplinary space to consider urgent contemporary social issues.

Music

The York College Music Department is proud to present another season of exciting performances in the 700-seat Waldner Performing Arts Center and the 200-seat DeMeester Recital Hall in Wolf Hall. All events are free and open to the public.

Film Series

The Humanities Film Series is designed to promote the humanities on campus and in the surrounding community by fostering a serious and ongoing discussion about cinema.

Special Events

This spring, York College will host a performance of Bharatanatyam dance, a lecture on the future of the Electoral College, and a showcase of classical and folk dances from China.
