Meet Niki Waters
Niki holds a Master’s degree in Psychology with a specialization in Health Psychology and is currently pursuing a doctoral degree in Cognition and Neuroscience. Their academic and professional interests focus on the intersection of neuropsychology, mental health, behavioral health, and health promotion.
Niki is the author of the PAUSE Program, a mental health fitness curriculum developed for middle and high school students while working with NAMI York Adams. The program focuses on mental health awareness, emotional regulation, coping skills, resilience, and psychological well-being.
Niki currently works as a Mental Health and Wellness Counselor with RVO Health, supporting tobacco-cessation behavior change. Their work reflects a commitment to evidence-informed approaches to mental health promotion, prevention, and wellness.
