Meet Wendy Crane
Wendy Crane is a Physics Instructor and Lab Coordinator at York College of Pennsylvania, where she has been teaching since 2018. Initially joining as an adjunct faculty member, she has been a full-time instructor for the past three years. Wendy holds a B.S. in Chemistry and Secondary Education from Elizabethtown College and a Master of Science in Teaching (M.S.T.) in Physics from South Dakota State University. With a passion for hands-on learning, Wendy utilizes a variety of teaching methods, including lecture, guided practice, and laboratory experiments. These diverse approaches help engage students and enhance their understanding of physics. She continually updates course materials and labs to incorporate modern teaching strategies and foster a dynamic learning environment. Committed to student success, Wendy strives to make complex concepts accessible and exciting, helping students develop both theoretical knowledge and practical skills in physics. Her goal is to inspire the next generation of scientists and educators while continually improving her own teaching practices.
