A Fresh Experience: Recent Campus Dining Upgrades at York College

Chartwells Dining Service at York College of Pennsylvania is expanding with exciting new concepts designed to enhance your culinary experience on campus.

This semester, you’ll find:

  • Two vibrant new eateries offering retail food that students have been requesting
  • New stations at West Campus Dining Hall. 
  • Unique dining atmospheres, whether you're looking for a cozy, café-style setting to relax and catch up with friends or a modern, fast-casual spot for a quick-yet-delicious meal between classes. 

With these additions, YCP Dining is committed to providing more variety and convenience, ensuring that every meal is not just about nourishment — but also an enjoyable dining experience!

Spart's Den

Beginning in the Fall 2024 Semester, specialty dining areas Copperhead Jack’s and Spartan Slice will join the newly-renovated Spart’s Den Food Court. 

Copperhead Jack's

Copperhead Jack’s offers Tex Mex dining options, including: 

  • Burritos
  • Bowls
  • Street tacos
  • Chips and salsa

Complete your meal with all of your favorite toppings, ranging from traditional pico de gallo to guacamole or queso dip. 

Spartan Slice

Spartan Slice is our popular pizza eatery, located next to Copperhead Jack’s. This location offers: 

  • Customizable personal pizzas
  • Calzones
  • Sdes (like cheesy garlic breadsticks and a variety of mini soft pretzel bites!)

Next time you’re in the lower level of the Student Union building, stop by one of these delicious new eateries right inside Spart’s Den! 

Hours of operation are Monday-Friday11 a.m.-midnight, and Saturday-Sunday, 5 p.m.-midnight.

West Campus Dining Hall

West Campus Dining Hall underwent a complete renovation this summer! This modernized dining location boasts new walls, lighting, countertops, and equipment. Each station is now refreshed with a new name and enhanced menu offerings.

  • The Nook - Waffle maker, coffee, bagels and breads with butters and cream cheeses, fresh fruit, yogurt, cereal, milk, and milk alternatives
  • Fifth and Fresh - Deli bar
  • Flour & Sauce - Pizza, pasta, strombolis, calzones, Italian baked breads
  • The Diner - Grill favorites
  • The Studio - Action station and main entree

"Delicious Without" at Johnson Dining Hall

York College Dining Services is proud to launch Delicious Without, the newest station at Johnson Dining Hall for the Fall 2024 Semester. This station is dedicated to foods prepared without the top nine food allergens (peanuts, tree nuts, fish, shellfish, wheat, soy, eggs, dairy, and sesame) and gluten.

The Delicious Without station features meals that are simply prepared and seasoned, served by a trained associate. A main dish, a vegetable, and a gluten-avoiding grain, pasta, rice, or potato are typically served. 

Salads, fruits, gluten-avoiding bagels, wraps, breads, and dairy-alternative spreads are also available. Ingredient and nutrition information can be found on our website and dining app: Dine On Campus.
