York College Assistant Dean for Athletics and Recreation Paul Saikia is proud to announce that Jordan Koller has been selected as the new Men's and Women's Golf coach for the Spartans.

Koller is very familiar with the Spartan program as she was a four-year letter winner for the Spartan women's golf squad.

"We are thrilled to have Jordan returning to YCP to lead the Spartan men's and women's golf programs into the future," said Saikia. "So many of the qualities inherent in all of our successful coaches are the same that drove Jordan to be an exceptional student-athlete, and her hire is very much in step with the approach we've used to establish York College Golf as an NCAA Division III contender. With her passion for the ColIege and her sport, I consider our teams to be in excellent hands."

Koller is happy to be returning to York.

"I want to thank the search committee and Paul Saikia for this opportunity," said Koller. "After four years of playing for the women's golf team, there is no place I would rather be than at York, leading the men's and women's golf programs. Both teams are talented and I am excited to help them grown and succeed both on and off the course."

Koller came to York in the fall of 2018 and immediately became a starter for the Spartans. As a first-year Spartan, Koller owned a season scoring average of 80.26 as she posted one win, five top-five finishes and seven top-ten finishes as she played in nine events for the Green and White. Koller earned first-team All-Capital Athletic Conference honors as she finished third overall at the CAC Championships. Koller was a key for the Spartans as they won the conference title in just their second year of existence.

Koller's sophomore year was cut short by COVID as she played in five fall events before the spring campaign was wiped out by the pandemic. She averaged 79.44 with two top fives and four top tens.

Koller and the Spartans got back on the course the following spring as York had made a move to the Middle Atlantic Conference. Koller had another big year with a scoring average of 80.62 as she recorded a pair of wins in nine events for the year. She registered a 12th place finish at the 2021 MAC Championships as the Spartans captured the team title.

Koller's senior campaign was her best with a scoring average of 78.45 in 11 events. She earned one win and seven top five placements. She led the Spartans to their third straight conference title as she placed fourth overall to earn her third All-Conference honor.

Koller earned the MAC Senior Scholar-Athlete for women's golf in 2021-22. She concluded her Spartan academic career with a degree in Sport Management and a 3.95 GPA. Koller also minored in Athletic Coaching and Applied Youth Development. She was an eight-time member of the Dean's List as she had five perfect 4.0 GPA semesters at York.

Koller was a three-time WGCA All-American Scholar and a two-time Academic All-MAC selection.

During her time as a student-athlete, Koller was the President of the York College chapter of the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) in addition to being a member of the Newman Club, a Catholic Campus Ministry program at York.

After graduation, Koller worked a year at the NCAA offices in Indianapolis in the championships operation department. She then moved south to the Alabama Golf Association where she served as the manager of junior golf and tournaments.

Koller will begin her duties at York on April 23.
