York College of PA Celebrates National Engineers Week (Feb. 18-24)

National Engineers Week was first celebrated in 1951 by the National Society of Professional Engineers in conjunction with President George Washington’s birthday. (Washington is sometimes referred to as the first U.S. engineer.) The 2024 theme, “Welcome to the Future,” centers on celebrating today’s achievements and paving the way for a brighter and more diverse future in engineering.
