York College of PA Marketview Arts to feature ‘Selections from the Gunter-Smith Collection’ from May 25 to June 17

York College of Pennsylvania’s Marketview Arts in Downtown York will present an exhibition of student works purchased by retiring president Dr. Pamela Gunter-Smith during her tenure (2013 to 2023) from May 25 through June 17. An opening reception is scheduled to begin at 6 p.m. on June 2. The reception for “Selections from the Gunter-Smith Collection” and the exhibition are open to the public free of charge.

During her tenure as president, Dr. Gunter-Smith demonstrated her support for the art program by purchasing student works for both the College and her private collection. This exhibition represents her appreciation for the arts and steadfast commitment to students.
