York College Of PA To Screen Film On March 21; York Native Who Produced It Will Be On Hand
York College of Pennsylvania will show the film “On a Wing and a Prayer” at 7 p.m., March 21, in Humanities Center Room 218, and the producer, a York native, will be on hand to answer questions. The event, featuring Autumn Bailey-Ford, is open to the public free of charge.
“On a Wing and a Prayer” (2023) tells the extraordinary true story of a family whose faith and will to survive are tested when tragedy strikes in the air. The film stars Dennis Quaid and Heather Graham.
Bailey-Ford is a Georgia-based producer and CEO and founder of Autumn Bailey Entertainment, a production company that produces documentaries, short and feature films, and reality TV shows, as well as providing help with casting, location scouting, crew hiring, and overall film production needs. She is a highly sought-after indie producer with over 30 films under her belt, both on the small and big screens. She has received multiple accolades and won numerous awards for her work.
Bailey-Ford is a member of the Producer Guild of America, Women in Film Los Angeles and Women in Film and Television Atlanta, Black Women in Film, Regional Southeast EMMY Chapter, and a charter founding member of The Reel Divas Atlanta organization. She completed her undergraduate studies in Mass Communication, with a concentration in film and television and a minor in Philosophy, at Shaw University.
