Graduates gather around the Rock on Commencement day to signify the completion of their academic journey. The Rock is painted York College green and the graduates' markers are filled with white ink.

Executive Director
Arch Street Meeting House Preservation Trust

"York College gave me friends, a degree and a place to call home for four years. It was a brilliant setup. But, the most help YCP gave me was a sense of discovery. YCP allowed me to discover different passions and skills through general education courses. A lot of these courses I took were in the Theatre Department, those classes gave me the confidence to speak and lead, skills that are really important to run a historic site."
