York College ID Card

All full- and part-time students at York College are required to obtain an identification (ID) card. Your ID card is an essential tool for your college experience and serves many purposes.

Unless otherwise noted, all ID cards may be picked up in the Campus Safety office.

Getting (or Replacing) Your ID Card

New students may submit an ID card photo online. Your printed ID card will be given to you at check-in during your first semester.

  • Fall semester — New students may submit a photo beginning on July 1.
  • Spring semester — New students may submit a photo beginning on December 1.
  • Summer semester — New students may submit a photo beginning on May 1.
Submit an ID Card Photo

Students who need a new ID card should contact the Campus Safety office in the Manor Northeast lobby. You will be required to present a valid photo ID (e.g., driver's license, State ID, high school ID).

If you lose your York College ID Card:

There is a $20 fee for replacement ID cards. The fee will be billed through the Business Office.

Using Your ID Card on Campus

Your YCP ID is more than just a photo and your student number. You'll need it to access many of the resources, facilities, and activities available for York College students. Be sure to keep your YCP ID card with you at all times when you're on campus and show it to any College faculty, staff, or administrator upon request.
