Handshake is a resource for students to seek internships and job opportunities, schedule appointments with our Career Development professionals, register for upcoming events, and research employers. To access Handshake click on the link below to be directed to your MyYCP account. On the left-hand side of your portal page, click on the Handshake icon. You will be automatically directed to your Handshake account.

As a service to both our students and their potential employers, we use an online recruiting and job posting system called Handshake. With Handshake you will be able to:
- Post your jobs, internships, and co-ops to York College students and alumni for free.
- Schedule on-campus interviews and recruitment tables.

- Post your recruitment events for our students and alumni to view.
After logging in to Handshake, please complete your company and individual profiles with as much information as possible to maximize your use of the system. The more information you provide, the more attention your organization will get from students and alumni.
There are many experiences, ideas, tools, resources, programs, activities and services that constitute your student's college experience. Encourage your student to get involved with the Career Development Center. It’s never too early to start!

Handshake is York College of Pennsylvania's one-stop-shop for your career management. It provides employers and students 24/7 access to resources, services, job postings, and employer information. All York College students receive an account, which remains active throughout the college experience and continues as an alumnus.
Services include:
- Schedule appointments with a career professional
- Access self-assessments and comprehensive how-to and reference guides in Resources area
- View Career Development workshops and events
- Manage and track the internship and job search
- Apply for positions (on-campus jobs, internships, co-ops, part-time and full-time)
- Research employers, access contact information and see when they visit campus
- Submit resumes for approval
- View events hosted by employers throughout the region
