Entrepreneurship and Innovation students receive academic credit for completing an internship experience. Many students work directly with local and regional small business owners, getting an inside look at how these businesses operate and how their entrepreneurs approach management.

Additionally, classes in the Entrepreneurship and Innovation major include a number of project-based learning opportunities—including “Spartan Startup,” during which student teams create a product or service to solve a real problem.

Relationship-building is a hallmark of our programs in the Graham School of Business at York College. In addition to working closely with faculty members who care about helping you to achieve your goals, you’ll learn how to form good networking relationships with professionals in your industry.

Students in the Entrepreneurship and Innovation program are also invited to conduct research alongside a faculty member through an independent study. As a result of this undergraduate research opportunity, some past students have co-authored academic papers while still enrolled at York College.
