Growth in the population of older persons in the U.S. and worldwide has created a demand for professionals with specialized knowledge in the field of aging. The Aging Studies Minor is a 15-credit interdisciplinary minor open to all majors. Three foundational courses are required because of the biopsychosocial nature of the aging process. Students choose two additional  3-credit courses from various disciplines to complete the minor. Courses within the minor may also be taken individually as electives.
