Environmental science focuses on the ways humans interact with their environment, and how that interaction affects the world around us. The role of the environmental scientist is to use scientific knowledge to address issues in agriculture, forestry, environmental policy, sustainability, and public health initiatives — just to name a few.

The Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) Program prepares nurses to practice as Family Nurse Practitioner. It builds on undergraduate education through the development of advanced knowledge and expertise, based on the critique and application of theory and research. The Master of Science in Nursing Program is accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE) and thus adheres to CCNE standards, which inform curriculum development, course sequencing, and all other program elements.
Qualifications for participation in a post-master’s certificate track include completion of both the baccalaureate and an advanced practice master’s degree in nursing from a CNEA or CCNE-accredited program at a regionally accredited institution, or an equivalent institution, as determined by graduate faculty in The Stabler Department of Nursing faculty.

The minor in Healthcare Administration is designed to provide students with a background in healthcare and ethical and administrative issues related to health care.
