Student giving is about more than just fundraising. It's about preserving the traditions that make a York College experience unique. Opportunities for Student Philanthropists
Rock the Socks Giving Program
Students and young alumni are invited to submit their best designs for YCP-themed socks in this annual competition. The winning design is made into custom socks, which are distributed to student/young alumni donors.
Student Alumni Board
Student Alumni Board (SAB) is a group of student leaders who serve as ambassadors and help achieve increased engagement and philanthropy from alumni and students. They promote a culture of philanthropy on campus, educate peers about the importance of alumni and student giving, and aid in supporting their favorite areas of YCP. They create new traditions and foster pride throughout the campus community.
TAG Day
Thank a Giver Day, or TAG Day, celebrates the effect that philanthropy has on the York College community. During TAG Day, students share messages of gratitude with donors whose contributions make the YCP experience possible. Students also learn about the ways that alumni, faculty, staff, parents, friends, and fellow students have left their legacy at York College.
